Area 3-on-3 tourney brings the heat

Hoops showcase grows, elevates competition and raises thousands

Thirteen years in, the Taylor Press 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament continues to get more competitive and bring out the best in area athletes.

The tournament, hosted since 2013 by the Courier’s sister paper under Granite Media Partners Inc., drew 28 teams across four divisions July 11-12 at Taylor High School. Snipe Squad claimed this edition’s championship, in what participants called one of the most impressive fields in the event’s history.
