Wildcats eye sophomore at starting quarterback

Elgin sophomore Tanner Modesette is expected to compete for the Wildcats’ starting quarterback position heading into the 2026 season. Modesette has taken reps with the firstteam offense during Elgin’s offseason 7-on-7 competitions, according to head coach Rich Lucero.
