Wildcats commit to college programs

Two Elgin High School seniors signed national letters of intent Feb. 4 and will continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level. Bianca Galindo (left) goes on to play softball at Temple College, a Division I program, while Tyson Mc-Farlin joins the Division II Texas A&M University- Kingsville baseball team. Galindo commits to the Leopards currently ranked 36th nationally in home runs and 67th in runs on the season. Both student athletes were joined by family, friends and coaches to celebrate the milestone achievement.
