The Cedar Creek varsity football celebrates after earning its first victory in more than four seasons, snapping a 43-game losing streak with a 35-28 win over Kyle Lehman Thursday, Oct. 30, in Buda. The Eagles’ win also marks the first under new head coach Jared Shaw, who received a celebratory Gatorade bath. Cedar Creek overcame a 21-14 deficit in the effort. Its last positive showing was in October 2021, when the Eagles defeated Elgin 14-6.
