Born on September 15, 1936, Ramon was the son of the late Rosalio Rangel and Rafaela Vega Rangel. He lived a life defined by generosity, kindness, and a wonderful sense of humor. He loved to barbecue, rain or shine, enjoyed long country drives with his beloved wife Elena, and spent many beautiful days at the cemetery visiting the graves of his sons. Ramon was also a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, which he helped build alongside his father and other members of the community.

Ramon’s greatest joy was his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Elena Reyna Rangel; his children, Gilbert Reyna Rangel (Sonya), Paul Reyna Rangel (Judy), and Esther Reyna Rangel; and his adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Gloria Saenz (John), Janie R. Mata, Rebecca Castro, and Angel Rangel, along with many extended family members and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rosalio and Rafaela Rangel, and his sons, Joe Lole and Roy (Patricia). Brothers Dolores and Lupe and sister Maria.
