GIDDINGS – The Smithville High School varsity cross country program took to the course at Camp Tejas in Giddings last Thursday as the Lady Tigers and Tigers both competed in the 4A-District 22 championship meet.The Lady Tigers placed second as a team with 40 points at district to qualify for the upcoming regional meet as five Smithville runners placed in the top 15 in the girls’ two-mile run.
