The Elgin High School girls varsity soccer team won its third district match of the season Tuesday, Feb. 6 as the Lady Wildcats were victorious 2-0 at home over Bastrop High School.Scorers for the Lady Wildcats were junior Dory Estrada and sophomore Lilliana Giron, while sophomore Abby Muñoz and Estrada assisted on the goals against the Lady Bears.“Bastrop always offers us a very competitive and challenging game,” Elgin Head Coach Gabriela Johnson said. “All the girls played an outstanding game.
