Loras Ehlinger (Barrel)

Loras Ehlinger (Barrel) passed away Aug. 21, 2023.

He was a long-time resident of Elgin and loved living in the country.

He was a Navy veteran and one of the coolest guys you’d ever meet.

Barrel had a passion for music, especially the Blues.

He enjoyed traveling and had a great appreciation for nature. He loved hosting and entertaining his many friends. Most of all he loved his Harley Davidson and his beloved dog, “Buddy.”

He leaves behind his sisters, Janis and Julie; brother, Joe; and his forever love, Wendy.
