Froilan Gaspar Jr., a devoted husband, loving father, cherished son, dear brother and a true friend, passed away Oct. 24, 2023, at the age of 47. He was born March 24, 1976, in Austin, and his departure has left a void in the hearts of all who knew him.

In the tapestry of Froilan’s life, there were moments of joy and shared passions. He was a devoted Lakers and Vikings fan, proudly supporting his teams through every win and loss. His love for the Lakers was emblematic of his unwavering loyalty and commitment to those he cared about.

Froilan Gaspar Jr. touched the lives of many with his kindness, humor and warm heart. His presence will be profoundly missed, but his memory will forever remain alive in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

Froilan was preceded in death by his grandpa, Juan Pena; grandma, Dora Pena; grandpa, Martiniano Gaspar; uncle, Emilio Gaspar; and a very special nephew, Oran Johnson a.k.a. Lil Oran, who now awaits his arrival in the heavens.

Froilan is survived by his beloved wife, Angela Gaspar, with whom he shared countless cherished moments and built a life together. He was the proud father of six wonderful children, Dominique Ubias, Froilan Isaac Gaspar, Natalia Gaspar, Jayson Gaspar, Madison Gaspar and Micah Villarreal, whom he loved with unwavering devotion.

Froilan’s love and dedication extended to his parents, Erlinda Gaspar and Froilan Gaspar Sr., who instilled in him the values of family and perseverance. He was a caring brother to Martin Gaspar, and a source of support and affection to his sisters, Rebecca Gaspar, and Lisa (Adolph) Lozano.

He also leaves behind a multitude of cherished family members, including a grandmother, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends who will forever hold his memory dear.

May Froilan Gaspar Jr. rest in eternal peace, and may his family find solace in the beautiful memories they shared with him during his time on this Earth.

A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home with the recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7 p.m. A celebration of Mass Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m.

Thursday, Nov. 2, at St. Joseph Catholic in Church in Manor.
