Elgin Independent School District has named Idalia Banda as the new principal of Trinity Ranch Elementary School. Banda currently serves as the district’s bilingual and ESL coordinator and has held several leadership positions within Elgin ISD since joining in 2015, including assistant principal at Neidig Elementary School in 2024 and 2025. District officials say Banda’s leadership has centered on community engagement, instructional excellence and student achievement throughout her tenure. “I love the Elgin community, and I feel honored and humbled to serve the incredible students, staff and parents at Trinity Ranch Elementary,” Banda said in a statement.
