BASTROP — Bastrop County leaders signed an agreement with the Zlín Region Investment Agency aimed at supporting economic development and international business partnerships.
A delegation of officials from the Czech Republic, including the governor of the Zlín Region, attended the signing ceremony, along with David Buss, vice president of The Boring Company. Several local, state and federal representatives were also present.
Local leaders said the partnership is intended to support business exchanges, trade opportunities and collaboration between universities and industries in both regions.
