A Del Valle man accused of sexually abusing children turned himself in to Bastrop County authorities last month and now faces multiple felony charges, deputies said.
Wilfredo Garcia, 43, a native of Honduras, surrendered to the Bastrop County Sheriff’s Office Dec. 2. He was charged with continuous sexual abuse of young children, solicitation to commit sexual assault of a child and indecency with a child through sexual contact.
Garcia is also being held as a detainee of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Each charge carries a bond of $100,000 for a total $300,000 bond sum.
One month prior, the Texas Department of Public Safety arrested a 44-yearold England native in Elgin on similar allegations.
Sayed Randjbar was charged with possession of child pornography and evading arrest. He was taken into custody by DPS troopers in the parking lot of H-E-B on a $510,000 bond.
