Professional experience for P-TECH

Elgin Independent School District P-TECH and welding students explore career paths Nov. 14 at the Construction Industry Education Foundation’s Trade Day. The program aimed to give students early exposure to workforce opportunities in construction with welding simulators, industry-grade equipment and professional demonstrations. Participants heard from workers directly involved with the skilled trades and in-demand technical fields growing across the country, according to officials.
