• Engineers report minimal lead exposure from the Old Iron Bridge project. The project is expected to be completed on time September 2026 and within budget.

• City Council set the minimum lot size that triggers a mandatory parkland set-aside or a fee in lieu of parkland. The code establishes parkland standards, affecting new developments of at least five acres or considered a major plat.

• Nations Roof, LLC, will handle repairs on the Bastrop Convention Center roof for $117,510. The repairs are part of a larger project funded through hotel occupancy tax funds, included in the city’s adopted budget.

• The city signed a contract with Capital Area Rural Transportation System limited to $10,000 to provide shuttle services during approved city-sponsored events. CARTS will charge the city $100 per hour of service during events, paid from HOT funds.
