Bastrop confirms board, commission appointments

BASTROP — Council members confirmed Sept. 30 Mayor Ishmael Harris’ annual appointments and reappointments to city boards and commissions.

As required at the start of each fiscal year under the city charter, the mayor selects nominees to fill expiring or vacant terms. Selections for the Bastrop Economic Development Corporation and Parks Advisory Board will be confirmed at a later date.
