Two Bastrop County men were arrested Thursday afternoon on search and arrest warrants.
Aden Galindo, 18, and Jaycob Hernandez, 17, were both taken into custody by either the Elgin Police Department or the Bastrop County Sheriff's Office. They're both in the Bastrop County Jail with charges of unlawful transfer of certain weapons.
According to a media release from Elgin police, the department ordered search and arrest warrants at 306 W. Alamo St. in Elgin and 312 Lacy Drive in Bastrop County. Galindo and Hernandez were each arrest and booked in the Bastrop County Jail.
During the searches at the two residences where the warrants were served, 14 different weapons, hundreds of ammunition rounds and more than $4,000 cash were recovered. More on this developing story can be seen in the Elgin Courier.
