  • Ashley Rodriguez was charged with interference with public duties.
  • Jerry Shook was charged with three counts of theft and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

Deputies also searched a residence in the Pony Creek area of Paige July 14. Investigators found narcotics and drug paraphernalia, leading to the arrest of seven suspects, each charged with possession of a controlled substance.

The individuals were identified as Stacie Croissant, January Davis, Brandon Faldyn, Sara Fowler, David Price, Vincent Smart and Crystal Smith.

On July 8, a Bastrop County K-9 unit assisted with a traffic stop on U.S. 290 in McDade. Narcotics were found during an open-air sniff of the vehicle and the driver was taken into custody.
