SNOOK — Members of Elgin SPJST Lodge 18 join others from across District 1 for a day of fellowship and service during its annual rally late last month in Snook. Attendees donated cash and several boxes of nonperishable items to local food banks. More than 75 members from counties including Bastrop, Lee and Fayette participated in the event. Officials said the rally highlights SPJST’s ongoing commitment to supporting public service programs and helping neighbors in need across the area. Courtesy photo
