THROUGH JUNE 7 BASTROP PRIDE FESTIVAL
BASTROP — Bastrop is painting the town with purpose duringthe2025PRIDE Festival, running May 30 through June 7. The weeklong celebration features mixers, live performances and two major events: the PRIDE Street Faire June 6 in downtown Bastrop and the County PRIDE Festival June 7 at the Bastrop Convention Center. ELGIN — Roll into Skate Night every Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at the Elgin Recreation Center’s back parking lot, 361 N. Texas 95. All wheels are welcome to shred ramps, quarter pipes and rails. Free and open to all ages, weather permitting.

NEIGHBORHOOD GROUNDBREAKING
ELGIN — First Presbyterian Church of Elgin will host a groundbreaking ceremony for its new Neighborhood Gathering Space June 12 at 6 p.m. during Sip, Shop & Stroll. Located at 303 N. Avenue C, the project is a partnership with ElginCommunityCupboard and Advocacy Outreach to provide food assistance, emergency housing and a future all-abilities playground. Free ice cream will be served.
