Staff from Ascension at Home’s Bastrop office are being recognized with the Compassus Program of the Year award, the highest honor given among the nationwide network’s home health providers. The award reflects excellence in quality, service and compassionate care for patients across Bastrop and eight surrounding counties. “It’s a tangible representation of the impact we have on patients and families in our community,” said local Executive Director Jordan Wojnarski. The team was praised for setting a standard of care and exceeding national performance benchmarks. Compassus leaders called the group a model for patient-first home health care.
