BASTROP — Six people were arrested Thursday during a multi-agency drug raid just north of Bastrop that resulted in the seizure of narcotics valued at more than $74,000, according to the Bastrop County Sheriff’s Office.
The raid took place May 2 at a residence on U.S. 40 after the BCSO and the Drug Enforcement Administration–Houston Division executed a narcotics search warrant. One suspect attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended shortly after, authorities said.
Those arrested were identified as Miguel Anguiano, Rita Davis, Jonathan Kanada Jr., Dlarence Thompson, Charmarqus Winston and W. Lee Young III.
Agencies involved in the operation included the BCSO, DEA-Houston, Texas Highway Patrol, Travis County SWAT and Williamson County SWAT.
Deputies reported seizing more than 38 ounces of fentanyl, 25 ounces of cocaine, 2.7 ounces of THC products, 11 ounces of marijuana and more than six ounces of methamphetamine.
Authorities also recovered eight firearms and body armor during the search.
