BASTROP — Construction begins on a new Sprouts Farmers Market, marking the latest retail expansion along Texas 71. The $6 million project will raise a 23,349-square-foot store as part of the first phase of the Burleson Crossing East development project, about four miles from the gaze of the Buc-ee’s beaver. The store is expected to be completed by March 2026. Based in Arizona, Sprouts is known for its health-focused and organic grocery offerings.
