Plumbing skills earn senior scholarship

Smithville High School senior Konner Namken poses with Milton’s Furniture owners Don and Patty Mutschink after winning the SKILLS USA Plumbing State Championship in Corpus Christi. Namken, who has worked at the Smithville store for three years, also took first place at the district level in Hutto and earned a scholarship to Texas State Technical College.
