Cedar Creek High School Ballet Folklorico celebrates a triumphant performance at the South Texas College State Competition in McAllen, capturing Best of Show Judges Choice for “Cuadro Hidalgoense” and Best Male Dancer Judges Choice for Aaron Castillo — selected out of more than 1,000 competitors. The team also earned top honors in categories including Hidalgo Folk Contemporary, San Luis Arribeno and Hidalgo JV, as well as both duet and solo awards, marking a standout year for the school’s program.
