Local students among SHSU elite

Several Elgin graduates earned high academic honors at Sam Houston State University in the Fall 2024 semester. Named to the President’s List, each with a perfect 4.0 GPA in at least 12 semester hours, are Kinsey Hobbs and Olivia Tabor. Earning a place on the Dean’s List, with at least a 3.5 GPA in 12 semester hours, are Morgan Heine, Dayanara Macedo, Nicole Torres Oviedo and Alexis Ybarra.
