Lee County 4-H mounted drill team wins state

BRYAN – Members of the Lee County Texas Stars 4-H Horse Club attended the 4-H State Horse Show July 22-28 in Bryan. Students competed in events such as roping, halter, drill, sorting, barrels, poles, stockhorse pleasure, horsemanship, trail and more, and placed in several events.

The drill team, which consists of team members from Elgin, won the State Champion title.

The quad teams placed third, fourth and seventh.
