SMITHVILLE – The June Chamber Mixer will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Front Room Wine Bar, 116 Main Street in Smithville. Door prizes given out at 6 p.m. The event is a great opportunity to mix and mingle with your fellow Chamber members.

LA GRANGE – Rootsy Americana and Country/fold with a soulful Memphis kick, Kelly Mickwee returns with her band to our converted WWII Army Barracks theater, the Bugle Boy 051 N. Jefferson in La Grange. The concert is from 8 to 10 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m.

BASTROP – The Bastrop Juneteenth Celebration Family Freedom Festival begins with a parade through historic downtown. Immediately after the parade, stop by the park for an afternoon and evening full of fun for the entire family. There will be live music and a DJ playing throughout the day, food and small business vendors, kids and adult activities and family competitions.
