He is survived by his wife, Frances.

Family and friends gathered for visitation and recitation of the Holy Rosary at Elgin Funeral Home Aug. 21. A celebration of Christian funeral Mass was conducted at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Elgin Aug. 22 with the Rev. Paul presiding. Christian burial was held at Sunset Memorial Park of San Antonio Aug. 25.
