Family and friends will gather for visitation Thursday, July 31, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Elgin Funeral Home. A homegoing celebration will begin at 11 a.m. with the Rev. James Haywood, Rev. Daniel Brown, Rev. Judah Praise and Rev. Melvin Ikner of Lonestar Missionary Baptist Church presiding.

Interment will follow at Sayers Cemetery of Bastrop.
