He is survived by his parents, Erica Miranda and Geremias Lopez Geronimo.

Family and friends will gather at the family residence for visitation Wednesday, May 17, at 5 p.m. A celebration of Erik’s life will be held at Elgin Funeral Home Thursday, May 18, at 9 a.m. Interment will follow at Elgin Latin Cemetery.

Arrangements and care are entrusted to Elgin Funeral Home, 712 N. Avenue C in Elgin.
