Family and friends gathered for visitation at Taylor Christian Center Dec. 4., where she lay in state Dec. 5, followed by a celebration of Maria’s Life with Pastor Fernando Herrera presiding.

A funeral service was conducted at Taylor Christian Center Friday, Dec. 6, with Pastor Fernando Herrera presiding.

Interment followed at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery of Taylor.

Arrangements and care are entrusted to Elgin Funeral Home, 712 N. Avenue C in Elgin.
