Family and friends will gather at Lightnin’ Bar, 109 Central Ave. in Elgin, for a memorial celebration Saturday, Nov. 23, at 2 p.m., with the planting of a memorial tree at the Ike Brown Family Cemetery immediately following.

Arrangements and care are entrusted to Elgin Funeral Home, 712 N. Avenue C in Elgin.
