He will lie in state at Elgin Funeral Home Sept. 27, from noon to 6 p.m.

Family and friends will gather for a home-going celebration at River Valley Christian Fellowship of Bastrop, under the auspices of Lonestar Missionary Baptist Church of Bastrop, Sept. 28 at 10 a.m., with Pastor Melvin Ikner presiding.

Interment will follow at Clearview Cemetery of Hills Prairie.

Arrangements and care are entrusted to Elgin Funeral Home, 712 N. Avenue C in Elgin.
