She leaves behind her husband Byron Mitchell, children Byron II, Brent and Jessica, and grandson Nyles.

A visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 30, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home, 604 Texas 95 North in Elgin.

The Funeral will be held Saturday, Aug. 31, 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Elgin, under the Auspices of Strait Gate Fellowship Baptist church. Rev. Don Cyphers presiding.
