Our dear mother, Estela Cantù Acosta, sadly passed away on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, 2022, at the age of 83. Family and friends gathered at Elgin Funeral Home for a memorial service to celebrate Estella’s life Friday, Jan. 6, at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Stella Acosta’s name to http://support.woundedwarriorproject.org, an organization helping wounded veterans that she passionately supported.
