Camerina Benitez, 90, of Austin, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024. Friends and family gathered for a visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, at Elgin Funeral Home with the Holy Rosary recited at 7 p.m.
Celebration of Christian funeral Mass was held Wednesday, Jan. 17, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church of Manor with Father Henry presiding. Christian Burial followed at Elgin Latin Cemetery.
