Maria Glenda Bernard, affectionately known as Glenda, gracefully transitioned from this world Friday, Oct. 27, 2023.
Glenda’s departure has left a void in the hearts of all who knew her. Family and Friends will gather for Visitation from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, at Elgin Funeral Home with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 3 p.m. A celebration of Christian funeral Mass will be conducted Friday, Nov. 3, at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Elgin, with Father Paul Hudson presiding.
Christian burial will follow at Elgin Latin Cemetery.
