He will lie in state from noon to 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6, at Elgin Funeral Home. A home-going celebration will be conducted Friday, Oct. 6, at 1 p.m. at Elgin Funeral Home, with Reverend Elmo Griffin presiding. Interment will follow at Taylor Cemetery.
