He is survived by his wife, Liliana.

Family and friends will gather for visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25, at Elgin Funeral Home, with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 p.m. A celebration of Christian funeral Mass will be conducted Saturday, Aug. 26, at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Elgin, with Father Paul Hudson presiding. Christian Burial will follow at Elgin Latin Cemetery.
