The epitome of elegance and steadfast faith, Emma Ruth Colvin, “Ruthie,” 80, entered eternal rest Dec. 18, 2025.
Family and friends gathered for visitation at Elgin Funeral Home Jan. 2 and a celebration of Ruthie’s life at Winn’s Memorial Baptist Church Jan. 3. Interment followed at Sayers Cemetery.
Arrangements and care are entrusted to Elgin Funeral Home, 712 N. Avenue C in Elgin.
