Gregory Keith Zaney, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, attorney, coach and friend, passed away suddenly from heart failure at the age of 78 on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025.
A celebration of Greg’s life will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, at Elgin Presbyterian Church. The interment will follow at Elgin Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice.
Arrangements and care are entrusted to Elgin Funeral Home, 712 N. Avenue C in Elgin.
