SAN MARCOS – The Elgin High School varsity football program had its big guys in action this past weekend as the Wildcats took part in the Lineman Challenge State Qualifying Tournament on June 10 put together by Hardin- Simmons University and held at San Marcos High School.Wildcats football head coach Heath Clawson, assistant coach Jervis Williams, assistant coach Sean Luna and others traveled with the team and watched them compete in different lineman competitions in San Marcos against top competition in Division 1 with other 5A and 6A schools who entered.Although Elgin did not advance to the upcoming Lineman Challenge ...
