GEORGETOWN – Bastrop High School sophomore Carly Sherman advanced to the State championship tournament that was held Monday, May 15, and Tuesday, May 16 at White Wing Golf Club in Georgetown.Sherman dominated the regional match to advance to the state championship and she did it in style.Sherman sank a birdie putt from about 15 feet to cap off a great second round at the regional match.
