BASTROP — The Cedar Creek High School girls varsity basketball team was victorious Nov. 3 at home in the 2023-24 regular- season opener as the Lady Eagles rallied for an impressive 56-37 win over the Lady Cardinals of Del Valle High School.Despite Cedar Creek trailing early in the third quarter to Del Valle, the Lady Eagles took the lead in the third quarter and then surged with a dominant fourth quarter for a 19-point victory.Against Del Valle, the Lady Eagles were led by sophomore standout Keyaira Limuel Washington.
