Rosezell “Rose” Chapmond Goughnour

Rosezell “Rose” Chapmond Goughnour, 86, of Elgin, formerly of El Paso, passed away Saturday morning, Sept. 2, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

Family and friends will gather for visitation from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, at Elgin Funeral Home. A celebration of Rose’s life will follow at 3 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Edmond presiding. She will be laid to rest Tuesday, Sept. 12, at 11 a.m. with her husband, Leonard, at the Fort Bliss National Veteran’s Cemetery of El Paso.
