Bastrop Pride present at art walk

BASTROP — The first Friday of every month continues to breathe life into historic downtown Bastrop with the city’s “art walk,” an exhibition of local talent and a platform for communal organizations.

This month’s rendition saw members of Bastrop Pride set up stand on Main Street, sharing information surrounding the growing LGBTQ+ community in Bastrop County.

Bastrop Pride is a nonprofit organization set on serving the county and celebrating its diversity, servicing the pride community by helping with some of the more difficult conversations, according to group chairman Brett Douglas.
