The Elgin Lady Wildcat varsity volleyball team completed their 2026 season on Friday, Oct. 23, finishing 24-20 overall record and 5-9 for district.
The Lady Wildcats were unable to clinch a playoff position, placing fifth on district rankings behind the Hendrickson Lady Hawks. This is an improvement from last season, where Elgin finished sixth on the rankings with a 2-10 district record.
The Lady Wildcats had an erratic pre-season, going on a six-game win streak before accumulating a five-loss streak to then pick up a nine-game win streak.
