BASTROP — The Bastrop County Commissioners Court voted April 27 to approve a preliminary plan for the Prado Vista Subdivision, a proposed residential development near Elgin.
The 56-acre project, located at 140 Youngs Prairie Road includes lots ranging from roughly half an acre to just over one acre. According to officials, 42-acres are designated for 77 single-family lots, with additional land set aside for drainage ponds and internal roads.
The development will be served by Aqua Water Corporation, Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative and individual on-site sewage facilities, with a homeowners association expected to manage drainage and common areas. The project is being developed by Repurposed Ground, LLC, and could see changes as it moves into final stages.
