A flash flood watch is now in effect for Bastrop County through 7 a.m. Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
Officials warn that 2-4 inches of rain, with isolated totals up to 10 inches, could lead to life-threatening flooding of rivers, creeks and low areas. Residents are urged to monitor forecasts, enable emergency alerts and be prepared for dangerous conditions.
