BASTROP — Bastrop High School’s Carly Sherman capped off an impressive season with a 14th-place finish at the UIL state golf tournament. Sherman qualified for state after placing third at the regional tournament with rounds of 77 and 78. She continued her strong play at state, posting scores of 75 and 78.
